IT-Security is a complex, many-faced topic. Its importance requires considerations an any level: per individuum, for small companies, large enterprises and on the level of state governments. The design goals for this course has been splitted: the first four talks will introduce in computer security, access control, multi-level systems and program security and should provide a strong base for the upcoming topics. Then we will investigate applications, their pre-requisites and user-acceptance: Emission, E-Commerce, monitoring systems, and mobile systems. Finally, we raise open questions and stateof-the-art results: privacy issues and information warfare. The last section reports about a hands-on workshop on planning security measures.
